Association governance is implemented by the TESOL-Ukraine Executive Committee that runs the work of the association nationwide, coordinating the work of oblast subdivisions headed by oblast leaders.
Productive cooperation of the Executive Committee with oblast leaders is crucial for the successful development of the association. The Executive Committee officers and oblast leaders meet three times a year at Leadership Meetings to make decisions on current issues, settle the venues and programs of coming events and activities, work out plans for the future, etc. All the officers and leaders are volunteers.
In 2005 the Advisory Committee was added to the governance structure of the association. It includes the former TESOL-Ukraine presidents who assist the acting Executive Committee in running national conventions and conferences.
