This spring Hawaii TESOL invited TESOL-Ukraine to conduct a Language Experience Workshop, which introduces a new language to English-speaking teachers. The Language Experience workshop on teaching Ukrainian, organized by Hawaii TESOL, was held online on May 24, 2023. The workshop aimed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively teach Ukrainian to learners. It was held by Drs. Luydmyla Hnapovska and Maryna Tsehelska.

During the workshop, participants delved into the basics of Ukrainian, covering greetings, common phrases, and pronunciation rules.

Lyudmyla Hnapovska has created an artful presentation, which can be downloaded and used for presenting basics of Ukrainian history, language and culture.
